NIBVEDA SkillProject is operated by NIBVEDA, whose Registered Office is shown at the bottom of every page. NIBVEDA decides why and how your personal information is used on this site, and is responsible for it.
- Your account: your name, email address, a password (kept only in a scrambled form that we cannot read), and optionally your phone number, college, branch, degree and year of study.
- Your orders: the project titles and deliverables you choose, the options and notes you give us, any custom project description or template you upload, the files we deliver to you, and your invoices.
- Payment: whether an order is paid, the amount, and the payment reference from our payment gateway. Your card, UPI or bank details are entered on the payment gateway's own page and are never seen or stored by us.
- Student identity proof: if you ask for a student discount, the identity card image you upload for that check.
- Your use of the site: what you read in your Learning Space, quiz attempts and scores, projects you save, and referrals you make.
- Messages: what you send our support team and the emails we send you about your account and orders.
- Technical information: the time and the internet address of sign-in attempts, kept to protect your account from misuse.
- For experts who work with us: address, PAN, bank account details, a copy of the PAN card, work history and payout records, collected to pay them and to meet tax obligations.
- To create and secure your account, and to sign you in.
- To take, prepare, deliver and support your orders, including assigning the work to our experts.
- To confirm payments, issue invoices and keep the accounts and tax records the law requires.
- To send you the emails an account needs: verification, password reset, order and delivery updates, and replies from our team. We send promotional email only if the law allows it, and every such email has a link to opt out.
- To prevent fraud, abuse and unauthorised access, and to check that an order is within what we provide.
- To improve the site, using the information about how it is used in aggregate.
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the people who help us run the service, and only as much as they need:
- Our experts, who receive the details of an order they work on (the project, the options and the notes you gave) so that they can prepare it. They do not receive your payment details.
- Our payment gateway, which processes your payment.
- Our email service, which delivers the messages we send you.
- Google or Microsoft, if you choose to sign in with them. They tell us your name and email address.
- Our hosting and infrastructure providers, who store the data on our behalf.
- Authorities or advisers, where the law requires it or to protect our rights, and any buyer of the business, who must keep to the same commitments as in this policy.
Passwords are stored in a form that cannot be reversed. Expert PAN and bank account numbers and our payment and email credentials are stored encrypted. Our team signs in with two-step verification, access to personal information is limited to the roles that need it, and connections to the site are encrypted. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your personal information we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.
We keep your account and order information while your account is open. Invoices, payment records and the accounts built from them are kept for as long as Indian tax and accounting laws require, even after an account is closed. Sign-in records and old notifications are removed on a regular schedule. When we no longer need information, we delete it or make it anonymous.
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. To keep you signed in and remember your choices (such as your theme), the site stores a small sign-in token and preferences in your browser's own storage. Signing out removes the token.
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable law you may ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct what is wrong or out of date, delete it (subject to the records we must keep by law), and withdraw a consent you gave. You can change your name, phone number and password from your Profile, and unsubscribe from promotional emails with the link in them.
To use any other right, or to raise a complaint, write to contactus@nibveda.com with your registered email address. We will reply within a reasonable time, and within the time the law sets. If you are not satisfied with our reply you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India once it is in operation.
The service is meant for developers and learners aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us information, write to us and we will delete it.
When we change this policy in a way that matters, we will update the date and version at the top of this page, and tell you if the change needs your fresh consent.
