CareerBridge: A Platform Connecting Students with Skill Development, Mentorship and Job Opportunities

CareerBridge, a platform that connects students with skill development, mentorship and job opportunities.

CareerBridge, a platform that connects students with skill development, mentorship and job opportunities. This reference project walks through the whole job, from the problem and the design to the build and the evaluation, so that a developer can study how it works, run it and extend it.

It suits learners building full-stack skills: user accounts and roles, a database-backed back end, a responsive front end and deployment.

The main parts are secure sign-up with role-based access, a database-backed back end with a clear API, a responsive interface for each type of user, and an admin view to manage records. The reference build uses React, Node.js, Express, and PostgreSQL, with a clear project structure, setup instructions and sample data so that it can be run and extended.
